American Indian Cultural District (AICD) Survey on MMIP

AICD is partnering with Indigenous Justice and the American Indian Cultural Center to host Community Visions Focus Group Six: MMIP (Missing or Murdered Indigenous People) is focussed on gathering feedback on what resources, support, programs, and safe spaces we should prioritize to support MMIP initiatives and help bring healing, systemic change, and justice to the victims, survivors, and families of MMIP in the City of San Francisco. The Montana Two-Spirit Society has opened up registration & scholarship applications for their annual Two-Spirit Gathering. Native LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit people and their families are welcome and those sponsored by an attending tribal member. Expect presentations and discussions, talent show/pageant, Two-Spirit Powwow, traditional activities & crafts, finding community & healing.
