Please join the BAAITS Two-Spirit Drum, Sat June 22, 2:00-4:00 PM, at the SF Friendship House, 56 Julian Ave, for a continuation of "Two-Spirit Heartbeat". Only two blocks from 16th St BART. This 1 day event will share a variety of photos, screen short films and drum. Lite snacks provided. Enjoy celebrating Pride with community ❤️❤️ 🌈🌈
BAAITS 2024 Pride Statement
Dear BAAITS Community,
The BAAITS Board and Administration will be honoring the call to action from community members and will NOT be participating this year in any of the official SF LGBT Pride Events or Activities, including the festival and the parade on Saturday and Sunday, thus, standing in solidarity with indigenous struggles impacting our kin worldwide.
We understand that continued Two-Spirit and IndigeQueer visibility is critical to our community’s survival and break from isolation and erasure. Consequently, we are planning with our community partners events and activities to connect Two-Spirit and IndigeQueer folks during the week and weekend of pride, June 27 – 30, 2024. Stay tuned for a schedule of activities!
